Replies are closedeasy way for tpm. press win + r, type tpm.msc, hit enter. if it says the tpm is ready to use and the specification version is 2.0 then you are good. if it says compatible tpm cannot be found then its either off in bios or your board doesnt have it
for secure boot, win + r again, type msinfo32. look for "Secure Boot State" on the system summary page. on or off
tpm.msc says its ready, version 2.0. msinfo32 says secure boot state is off
classic. its probably disabled in bios. on a lot of boards tpm is called fTPM on amd or PTT on intel. names change per brand so check your motherboard manual before clicking random stuff
its an amd board
then look for fTPM / secure boot under the security or boot tab. also look at "BIOS Mode" in that same msinfo32 screen. if it says Legacy instead of UEFI, secure boot wont turn on until thats sorted
and be careful with that, switching legacy to uefi on an old install can stop windows from booting if the disk is set up the old way. back up first
bios mode says uefi so i should be fine. ill go in and flip it on
since this is a cheats forum, just so you know the Modern Warfare 4 compatibility checklist lists TPM 2.0 and Secure Boot under compatibility stuff to check, along with windows version and cpu support. so get this sorted first anyway, it affects everything. see anti-cheat and account risk and before you buy too
secure boot state now says on. thanks everyone, you saved me from reading a 40 page motherboard pdf
