Modern Warfare 4 no recoil settings: vertical vs horizontal and separate profiles per weapon class

question about no recoil. is it just a toggle that makes the gun not move or are there actual options? i heard you can set a percentage and also do vertical and horizontal separately. does that matter or is full removal always better

there are options. no recoil can reduce vertical and horizontal separately, and there is a recoil percentage so you decide how much gets reduced. weapon specific settings let you save different values for different classes

why would you not just go full

because full reduction on every gun can look unnatural and it also doesnt fit every weapon. an smg with crazy fire rate and an lmg dont behave alike. at least you can tune it

i think the practical reason is you might still want some manual control. like using less reduction when you are using aim assist stuff and more when you are just spraying

lol i read that as "aim assist stuff" like console aim assist. we are on pc fam

other things on that list: no sway reduces weapon idle movement, and spread control manages spread behaviour where the product supports it. note "where available". not every option exists on every product so check the no recoil and weapon control feature table

ok so rough plan is an smg profile, an rifle profile, an lmg profile, save them, switch when i change loadout

yep thats exactly the use case. and dont change loadout mid session without switching profile or you will wonder why your lmg is shaking like an smg
